The Quintessence Experience

How-Moji-Styled-It-At-Quintessence-Fair-26Hey hey! How are y’all doing?

Remember when I announced on the blog that I’d be attending the Quintessence Fair and I’ll be bringing you gist about it? Well, here’s all you need to know about it: It was fun! Lol. Forgive me, I’m being such a lazy reporter.Okay let me tell you a little more….

Believe me when I say almost all the pieces exhibited were beautiful. From plain fabrics, to full outfits to shoes and even jewellery. If I’d gone there 200k, I’m sure I would have spent it all and still wouldn’t have bought to my satisfaction.

The thing I loved most about the fair was how affordable most of the pieces were. I was a bit skeptical at first but now I really do feel “buying Nigerian” isn’t such a bad idea after all. Not that I thought it was a bad Idea initially, I just thought stuff from Nigerian designers were a tad too expensive for girls on a budget but I’m glad to have been proven wrong by designers at the fair.

I eventually decided to style some of the pieces on myself. So basically, all I did at the fair was meeting beautiful people and styling beautiful clothes while rocking to good music from DJ Ocean.

The event didn’t start on a great note for me at first because my photographer decided not to show up but I made the best of it and took my photos with a phone instead.
